I came in for medium braids and specifically asked for that size. My usual stylist wasn’t there, so someone else did my hair. Unfortunately, I ended up with extra small braids instead. This isn’t what I asked for, and it’s not the look I wanted. I’m annoyed because I trusted the instructions would be followed, and now I’m left with a style I didn’t plan for.

I’ve been coming to Aicha Hair Braiding at least three times a year, but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I got there at 8 AM, signed in, and was called about 15 minutes later. Once I sat down, the stylist told me she was going to eat and would be right back… which didn’t make sense to me. Why seat a client if you’re about to go eat? Came from Jersey and am definitely not returning. The price is what got me there but the service and the work itself is just not worth it. I showed several pictures of what I wanted and they didn’t listen at all. I have 5 lbs of hair on my head, she put 7-8 pieces of boho hair on each braid. I even ran out which I thought was weird and had to buy another pack. My braids are heavy and tight which defeats the purpose of having knotless braids. Idc how good the price is I’ll never go back.

I arrived at 8:00 AM, the time they stated they opened, after confirming the appointment over the phone the night before.
