I give Ahoy Marine my highest recommendation. Recently, they installed a new anchor winch on my river boat, which required the entire electrical system to be rewired, as well as did some preventative maintenace. I could not have been happier with the service I received: they were professional, concerned about doing the job exactly how I wanted it done, patient with my many questions and even allowed me to pick the boat up after normal business hours. From now on, they are my go-to for marine service.
We booked Cabin 7 which was horribly misrepresented on their website. Its a 1960 s single wide trailer that is a hazard to stay in. None of the windows open, there is no fire extinguisher, the smoke detector was laying on the shelf next to the stove, there were roaches in the bath. The carpet was so dirty my grandsons knees turned black after crawling for only a few minutes. There is no grill. The beach looks like an experimental agriculture project. Had my boat for sale on consignment here for awhile. Bad experience, they got upset when I asked about how the selling was going and told me to "Come get your Boat!". Zero stars for his one.
They have a mechanic there named Walt Johnson. This guy should be in jail! Avoid at all costs... or it may cost you everything!
