I was seen today in triage by Sheryl. I was in to be treated for abdominal pain, but have a history of mental illness. I was honest in my intake questions about harm to myself, my current passive suicidal thoughts, and my relapse with self injury last night. Sat in the waiting room for an hour and a half, was finally taken to a room after being told in triage that they would ask the doctor what tests and scans needed done. Sat in the room for another hour and a half with not a single person coming into the room. Asked the nurses station how much longer and they said they couldn’t order any tests until the Dr came in. Kind of defeats the purpose of telling the patient that triage is going to ask the doctor about those tests while you’re waiting.

Staff was excellent, kind and attentive. The rooms were large, updated and clean.

Google said my post had too many characters, so you can read my screenshots to see why you have a 1 star, which is more than you should get. Also, "patient experience" doesn't care about patients. They never got back to me. You guys are a joke.

They advertise Pediatrics but even the staff admits that they have NO PEDIATRIC care. As a matter of fact, they ZERO SPECIALTIES. If you need a specialist of any kind, they transfer you to a different hospital! Waited three hours with a 4 year old only to find all of this out. I had to ask them to clean his wound that required stitches! They didnt even do it! What kind of emergency department is this!? Never ever coming back here. Going to Level 1 hospital- Presby, Mercy, Childrens. This place is worthless!
