I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. The house at this resort is severely worn out and clearly in need of major maintenance and upgrades. Oh grand estate by ahmic shore where dreams go limp and wallets soar. The big house - a place vast with rooms galore but luxury- that’s folklore. The coffee maker drips with grace, one drop per minute sets the pace. A morning brew perhaps by noon - we recommend you bring a spoon. This stay was incredibly disappointing. We stayed in a cottage last year which had its quirks (hot tub) but decided to share the main house this year. What a mistake. -The water is not potable despite that being the situation last year and being assured it would be fixed (also that is not listed anywhere on the listing). Water is brown -a room in the basement clearly had an animal die in it or housed the cat litter as it smells very bad.
