I wish I had checked the reviews before my appointment. I went in for ear pain, and he asked to take a quick look at my nose, said it would be like a COVID test and took only 10 seconds. Then I got a $775 bill for a “nasal endoscopy.” Avoid this place.
This doctor helped me in fighting my sinusitis and issues were resolved back in 2019. Now , I am scheduled for a checkup since I have throat bothering and voice issues, but denied the care since I came in 10 minutes late to appointment. What else to do, when I stay 55 miles away from this location office. Care was denied right on the face and unable to see me or refer to any other doctor.
Went to see him for an earache and you guessed it, charged me $424.53 for "31575 LARYNGOSCOPY, FLEXIBLE; DIAGNOSTIC". This entails a flexible tube with a scope being inserted into the nose to look at the larynx. THIS PROCEDURE WAS NOT PERFORMED yet he stated I gave him verbal consent to do it. NO, he asked me if it was okay to remove some earwax. Called them up and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Best ENT i found. Doctor Mehmud listened my problems and explained very well about my infections. We still need to go for more test due to my hearing loss. I highly recommend doc Mehmud. Thank you doc .
SAME EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER BILLING REVIEWS HERE. This doctor is not transparent at all. Billed me and my insurance $1049 for a "nasal endoscopy" when all he did was look into my nose with a flashlight for less than 10 seconds (did not even put the device more than 1 inch into the nose) . My primary physician saw the same thing he did and she only used a regular flashlight. Basically I went in to have nosebleeds checked. I stated that the issue was only on the skin by the nostril.
