Very rough.
I was scheduled to see him March 19th but then I started peeing blood every time and called the after hours Dr Abromowitz and he said this was an emergency and put me in to see Dr Abou today The man was yelling at his nurses & at me saying why are you here.I told him & went back out yelling again saying why is this man in my slab Slab? What am I a piece of meat? Then said I need to go downtown & be admitted so they can take x rays Then I said so I wasted my time coming? He said yes an mine too
I recently had a vasectomy with Dr. Ahmad Abouhossein and my experience with him was extremely positive. The procedure was relatively painless (less than I thought it would be baded on my internet research) and he communicated to me and wife well throught the procedure.
Seemed very rough and gruff. Hopefully his competency is much better than his professionalism and kindness. I do not plan to go back to him again. I need a doctor who shows more compassion.
Horrible bedside manner. Makes assumptions regarding Patients and their level of pain as some sort of need for drugs rather then medical care and assistance. Not a nice Person or Physician. He was immediately replaced by his piers after addressing my Daughter inappropriately. Why in the world would someone who has vowed to be a care giver be so unkind and unprofessional. Speaks to what and how our Medical Fields and Insurance Providers have come to such problematic peaks.
The staff was usually great. They answered my emails pretty quickly. I do not trust him, though. He does not spend much time with patients. My first visit he spent one minute with me - and I have the paper you get at the end to verify that. It actually says 1 min. After a lot of protesting, he finally began to spend more time with me. I argued a lot with him, and wanted to see everything. I wanted to be a part of MY health decisions, not have them made for me. This seems to be hard for him.
He treated me poorly, yelled at me and exhibited unprofessional behavior twice while I was in his care. I do not trust him. I have a different doctor. He also has POOR listening skills.
Abrupt, ham handed and painful exam.
Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit? Yes, I was in agony! Was this provider's staff friendly? Yes Did this provider ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you? No, they've never taken personal calls with me Was this surgeon's office clean? Yes everything was neat and sterile
