Partly okay work, but with a huge flaw. I dropped off a Fox Sterlingworth made in 1911 for a stock repair. It was showing its age and someone had already made a mess of an attempted repair to a crack through the wrist. It took almost three years, but I finally got it back. In calling to check on progress I gathered that they had made at least one, possibly two failed attempts at the repair. Without going into detail I sent 2 winchester 94 3030 rifles to ahlmans to have receivers duracoted...that did not work so switched to ceracoting...requested gloss black...after almost 8 months I finally got rifles back..stocks dinged up and dents...shoddy ceracoting...rough flat black color...overcharged for work I never requested..but Mike sent a "sorry letter" and $300 cash...mike said he sacrificed it out of his own pocket..visa dispute and ahlmans rebutted with things that were false...I had been doing business with ahl... read more

I have been to a lot of firearm shops in my time. But, I would have to say that this is the rudest bunch of people I have ever met in my life. They charged me over $500 for a Boyd stock that I got another Boyd Stock off line for $169 shipped. If you want to pay double for most items in this store, then go there, but there are other places with better customer service that beats this place 10-1.
