Dr Ahlborn is a very thorough and professional ER doctor. When I visited the ER, he ordered the necessary testing and had resources come in after hours to quickly and efficiently determine my diagnosis. He also referred me to a top notch surgeon and insured the surgeon had the necessary details to proceed. Additionally, after the visit, Dr. Ahlborn checked in numerous times via telephone to insure I was well along my treatment path. I highly recommend this doctor for his medical aptitude and bedside manner.
Dr. Ahlborn was assigned to my mother when she went to the ER with severe abdominal pain. He saw her once, then ordered some blood work. When the blood work came back normal he sent in a nurse with discharge papers to send my mother home with a urinary tract infection. My mother protested and said that she was still in a lot of pain. The nurse had a very shocked look on her face after she asked us if Dr. Ahlborn had been back in to talk to us and we said no.
