We picked up Hejanggook and Gamjatang. The restaurant itself is small but cozy place I believe it haf about 6 tables or so. The soup itself lacked Umami flavor. Traditionally the soups should have more of bone broth taste but it definitely didn't have much of that.
I visited Ahjae in Palisade with my ajumma, and we truly enjoyed the food. The flavors were so authentic that it felt just like when I visited Korea. A wonderful experience!
We ordered gookbab and Gejang. All bowls of rices were so dry and Meat in Gookbab was also dry. Kimchi and Seok bak Ji were good. Water were self so we had to go and poured water so many times. Wish there was a bottle of Water. Service was nothing particular. Was very small restaurant. Gookbab was saulty and doesn’t feel like it has been boiled for a long time. It was ok in general but won’t go there again.
일하시는 아저씨분이 집안에 우환이있으신지 너무 불친절하고 무례하네여......맛은 괜찮으나 서빙하시는분때문에 재방문은 정말 하기싫네요....사장님인지 아닌지모르겠지만 정말 알아야할듯 ㅡㅡ The man working there was very rude and unfriendly—maybe he's going through something at home, but still... The food was okay, but because of the server, I really have no desire to come back. I'm not sure if he was the owner, but whoever he is, someone really needs to let him know.
