The vet and her assistant couldn't have been better in their calm handling of our senior horse who had to euthanized. The vet was proficient in examining, explained everything, and gave us options. They were both caring and compassionate. We are very grateful for their service.

I have been using Agwest for my horse care since I moved to Canada 10 years ago. They are, in my opinion, some of the best vets that I have met. This is because of their knowledge, that they take the time to continually update, their compassion and respect for the animals, but also, the way they look after and work with the owner. They will refer if needed, and will only carry out necessary procedures that will positively affect the outcome of the situation. This practice (both vets and staff) have continually gone above and beyond for me with all my horses. I met Steve Chiasson when my original vet couldn't come out to see my new born filly-that was 7 years ago. Since then, Steve, Brent and Lisa have all been willing to come out for emergencies or routine calls, always with a smile and always considering me part of the team. I have been fortunate to have Agwest as my vets for quite a few years now. They have seen me through the ups and downs of horse ownership. Steve and Brent are kind, compassionate, and very excellent equine veterinarians. In my experience, they go above and beyond for their clients.
