Worst spa experience ever. Came here with my wife while on our honeymoon and joyfully let the front desk know. They lost our reservation, and wanted to charge us an extra $100 for a “sudden same-day request” till my wife pulled out the email confirmation and the barely-conscious front desk woman said “Oh….ok.” We then received ok massages, followed by walking into an ice-cold lobby and spending time in the pool with broken fountains and dusty reclining chairs. Everyone was very nice, but they do not have a cold plunge for the women’s side. I think this a pretty big oversight, at least reconfigure and potentially make that area coed. I specifically chose this spa because it had a cold plunge, super bummed that I could not use it. On top of this, there is no pool area or place to cool down in the spa in general. It’s 110 degrees outside, we left after our massages, which were very nice, hence the stars for this, but this is not a spa I would ever return too.
It's June 4 - so officially summer season in the desert. Giovanni was very welcoming and answered all my questions upon checkin. The locker room attendant found me perfectly-sized slippers and a robe that actually fits me (I'm currently size 18W). I had the locker room and amenities all to myself and enjoyed the outdoor showers, jacuzzi and steam room before my 50 minute facial with Ziggy. My wife loved her massage here. Facilities are super nice.
I booked an online reservation and realized afterward that I used the wrong credit card, so I made a second reservation with the correct card and called to cancel the first one. Kaylin answered, and I explained multiple times that I had an existing reservation with a confirmation number that needed to be canceled. She insisted there was “no reservation” under my name or phone number and claimed I had only created a profile.
