I have learned so much about caring for older adults watching Betsy partner with her clients and their families. She helps through various scenarios- including emergency hospitalizations and with general care management- to ensure they are supported and living their best lives, either at home or at a residence. Betsy has been indispensable in assistance with my elderly aunt's care, from hospital stay to rehab to services at home. Her knowledge of Medicare and geriatric services is expansive and her energy is unflagging. She is a fierce advocate who truly cares for her clients. I feel very fortunate to have been referred to Aging with Dignity and Betsy Lichtenstein.

While I believe Betsy had the best of intentions, she lacked the necessary skillset to be a successful care manager. Her business just doesn't scale. She is a solo practitioner with a caseload she is unable to mange. As a result, everything was last minute or not at all. If you are trying to identify somebody to help take care of your loved one, I strongly urge you to keep looking. Interesting to note the flurry of 5-star reviews that came in after this one :-).

I share a mutual client with Betsy, and she has really made a positive impact on this man's life. From monitoring his many health care needs to finding him a suitable supportive residence, she has done it all. She is a tremendous advocate for her clients.
