Am allergic to dust mites. Last doctor treated me with monthly shot and an epi pen. When we moved to this state, we picked office close to home. Dr confirmed my allergy, but instead advised me to "avoid dust mites" as my treatment. Now I must find a new provider because I do not plan to live in a plastic bubble.
I paid 500 dollars out of pocker to be allergy tested and then she recommended an air purifier and OTC drugs that do not work. Still miserable still suffering, just 500 dollars poorer. On top of that in order to start allergy shots (also put of pocket, because my government employee insurance is junk) I have to pay 300 for Epipens. Im bled dry and I haven't even begun to feel better.

Cons: very condescending, I was told I have never had asthma and there’s no reason I should even have an inhaler…… I was hospitalized in November with my asthma and have had it for 25 years. I had an allergic reaction to something and ended up in the ER and on steroids for 3 weeks. She said that there was no use and that I’m not allergic to anyth... read more
