Disappointed. Bad overall. – We sat in a parking line for 2 hours and then got into a terrible screaming match with 3 people. We spent 3 hours total in the parking lot. Everyone was yelling and cursing. The theater seems to allow cell phones. 4 people received and ANSWERED their calls during the movie. I was appalled.
Go To The Early Shows – We live in the neighborhood and love to go to this theater. But parking and access off I-10 anytime after 8:00pm is a real experience. We go to the early evening and maybe the afternoon showings. Great place to hang out and people-watch in the adjoining mall. Food? Adobe OK; Surfer's Paradise Ugh; Red Robin OK. Try to eat before you go to the movie. The theater has good popcorn, though.Final Word: better than most Houston theater places.
Lousy Parking – Once you get in, the theater is nice. The parking is bad on a normal weekend, but HORRENDOUS on a big opening night (11/15). We weren't able to park one of our two vehicles, gave up and went home. There was no traffic control-it took nearly an hour to park one vehicle. People were angry and rude. We won't go there through the holiday season with all the big movies opening.
New Chef – It's time to come back to the Agenda. Things have really changed. The food is great and the service is fast and friendly. The new chef is from Spago Palo Alto, and has really changed things around. My wife and I had a great meal, try the pork chop, it's great.
HORRID RESTAURANTS!!!! – I love the theater but any and every restaurant is AWFULL. We got horrible service at Cafe Adobe, the food is worse at Red Robin, Jillians is loud and rude and the order is all wrong, the only really good one was Surfers Paradise. The shopping is fun, go to have fun and shop, watch a movie; but take your appetite somewhere else. Take it from someone who has tried them all, you WILL be disappointed.
