Beware of this business!!! I wish I could give negative stars. . . I would very much NOT recommend this business. Anyone with a business ethic like theirs is destined to be poor. I spoke with Julie to arrange installation of a sunsetter awning. She asked for pics and measurements which were sent to her immediately. She told me it would be $1250 and she will order some roof brackets and let me know when they arrive to schedule service. I contacted Sunsetters for a visit to give an estimate for an awning for our screened porch. A representative (the owner) from this company came for the estimate. I should have known from the excessive talking that something was amiss. He talked us into remote blinds instead. When the blinds were installed, the workers left them down. A windstorm came up so I tried to put them all up. The one on the end would not work. I believe the wind messed it up. Now all we hear is the blind banging against the house day and night. My previous experience with this company was good. I bought a Sun Setter awning and they installed it. A few months ago my awning was damaged by wind and they did the repair. Shortly after this install the wind monitor fell off and I called them about this. I was told that someone would come by to make sure it was not broken and reinstall it. We ordered a Sunsetter Awning from Age in Place improvements last summer as they are the local dealer for our area. Although we were promised the awning in just a few weeks, summer had passed by the time it was installed, and that was only after I had made numerous phone calls. After it was finally installed (by very professional installers), we were told that the awning cover that was part of the order was not available and on back order.
