Had multiple conversations about not allowing overcharges, being it's not our main bank account. They said they fell out a form we did. Come and find out it only blocks some charges and not others. Which we were not notified until after the charges have already gone through.
I have banked with AGCU for 7 years and no more. Without a doubt this place has the most corporate and out of touch business model you will experience. It will be next to impossible get ahold of any customer service agents. Today I got in touch with 2 customer service employees Brittni directly lied to me over the help chat in the app 2 times today about activating my debit card. DO NOT use this company for a loan. They are unforgiving and relentless in collecting. They DO NOT care about your life situation and they refuse to work with you. Worst experience I have ever had and even my friends and family members cannot believe the way they treated me from their experiences with other lenders.
Normally, AGCU is good to work with unless you’re trying to make a large purchase and then they only expect you to make that purchase Monday through Friday during business hours because you cannot connect or contact anyone to approve a large purchase on the weekends
Do not bank here. The home loan process is basically from the stone age. I've done a home loan and a refi. The debit cards are terrible. Chip only works half the time. Mag strip is worn off after 6 months. Tap to pay? No no that's too advanced for this poor bank. Every little thing is an annoying and over complicated process.
