I was at my wit’s end trying to find affordable care for my father who has mild dementia. I do not reside in state, and he desired to remain in his own home. We met with 5 or 6 agencies trying to find in-home care for my father with no success. Despite their competitive rates and initially friendly administrative staff, the quality of care provided to my mother was severely lacking due to the incompetence of one of their nurses. My mother was in later stages of dementia and suffering ill health due to recent diagnosis of heart failure. Each nurse/assistant that we have had has brought their own little touch to how they will approach caring for my dad for the best benefit for him, which I truly appreciate. Aaron and Mavis have always been quick to respond to any concerns of mine or changes that I may have had to make on a fairly short notice. Everyone I have dealt with on the phone has been polite and helpful and even when my dad's service has been interrupted due to medical appointments, I have received a call or text just to check in on how he's doing. Agatha Home Health has been an essential service to my parent's well being. Agatha, listens to the needs of our family dynamics and always engages for a strategy that is fair to their care providers and the health of our parents. We appreciate the holistic approach and as such the burdens are less weighty. Administratively, AHH is very responsive to the demands of insurance eligibility.
