We are not from Agassiz and my dog had a on going ear infection diagnosed from our local vet that I had more concerns about. Agassiz animal hospital were able to get my dog in asap, they were SUPER helpful and nice. If this was my local vet I would definitely be going here. Thank you again!

One Star – Outrageous Policy and Heartless Treatment I’m absolutely disgusted with Agassiz Animal Hospital. I showed up ready to pay in full—with CASH—and they refused to accept it. That’s right: they won’t take legal tender, and because of that, they refused to release my animal for the weekend. No compassion, no flexibility, just cold bureaucracy. My pet was stuck there not because of lack of payment, but because they don’t like the form of it. I asked for options, tried to reason, and was met with a wall of indifference. ... read more
I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Agassiz Animal Hospital! While camping at Weaver Lake, my dog got a fish hook stuck in her thigh. They fit us in quickly, treated her with incredible care, and were so kind and informative throughout. Everyone was amazing—we were so impressed that I’d consider making them our regular vet, even though they’re 2.5 hours away! Thank you to the vet and team for your compassion and quick action. You truly made a difference.
