I chose to participate in counseling to strengthen my marriage, decrease my anxieties and to experience internal growth. II went with Agape because of the Christ-based format. I was not disappointed. My wife and I worked with Byron Loy for about a year-and-a-half. Godsend to say the least. He was/is wonderful. His methods are both kind and direct. He is also very expository and prayerful in his approach, always incorporating Scripture into our sessions. My marriage is stronger, my anxieties have decreased and I have better f... read more

I previously worked with Byron Loy in another program, and my experience with him was extremely traumatic and distressing. He manipulated situations to pressure me into treatments I did not want, and he coerced me into voluntarily admitting myself to a hospital by threatening my career. I chose Agape Christian Counseling after being released from the hospital for my emotional issues. The hospital recommended DBT therapy, however they could not provide it. She incorporated DBT into our ... read more

I have used Agape a number of times as life has hit me hard. I personally have worked with Byron Loy. He is amazing. He is open and easy to talk to. He set realistic goals, and has helped me after life alerting surgery and through the loss of my mother. If you are looking for someone with experience, and the ability to overcome obstacles than Byron is your person.

I heard about Agape Christian Counseling through Bott Radio Network. When I thought I could use counseling to help strengthen my marriage, I called them up. I had seen one of their amazing counselors, Sue, for almost two years. She helped not only my marriage but myself. I’ve grown so much spiritually and emotionally with her help. I am so thankful for her guidance and support through some of the toughest years in our marriage. I cannot advocate for counseling enough. And Agape is one of the best counseling centers I’ve been... read more
