I accidentally sat on my glasses and I was about to drive back to Atlanta from Liberty University after dropping off my twin boys for their freshman year. Linda, the Optician, let me in early, was gracious, friendly, helpful, fixed them right away and didn't charge me! If my twin who wears glasses has any issues with his glasses there is only one place in Lynchburg where I will send him and that’s straight to Linda! Thanks!
I have recently discovered that A.G.Jefferson is a wonderful place to purchase new glasses. From the first friendly greeting upon entering, until your order is complete, they give excellent customer service...something that is often hard to come by today!
My wife's family bought their glasses from A.G. Jefferson for many years. We got married in 1975 and we have been buying our glasses from A.G. Jefferson exclusively except for a 12 year period when we lived in another state (34 years satisfied AGJ customers). With one exception - one time I bought a pair elsewhere (an optometrist's) and they were the worst glasses/frames I've ever had. Adjusted 3 times without ever fitting right. Never again! RecommendedI have been wearing glasses for quite sometime. Usually using Walmart or America’s Best. I decided to try AG Jefferson. I cannot say enough about the staff. Taking their time to help you find the frames you are comfortable with and so friendly. I will go back for my future frame purchases and the prices were as reasonable as Walmart & America’s Best.
Cannot say enough good words about Sheila at A.G. Jeffersons! She not only is an expert adjuster of eyeglasses, she cares about each customer. After inquiring about my mother-in-law who purchased glasses from Sheila a few years ago & who now resides in a long term care facility, & finding out that she's no longer mobile, is under hospice care, & is in bad need of eye glad adjustment, Sheila offers to come out to adjust them (on her OWN time!). What service! What caring! What a jewel for A.G. Jefferson!
