We were really excited about this property based on the photos, but unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. Pros: 1. Comfortable bedding and towels 2. Convenient location near gas stations and local attractions 3. Easy check-in with a code that activates at 4pm Cons: 1. The home was not clean — there were cobwebs, spiders in almost every corner, sewer flies in the upstairs bathroom, dusty windowsills, and rugs full of hair (pet and human) 2. My sisters and I recently stayed at Afton Clubhouse for a girls' weekend getaway. The property was amazing, and the main living room and kitchen were huge. It's super close to many wineries that we toured by day, and at night we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The home was clean, the beds very comfy and the huge open living area allowed us plenty of space to hang out and catch up. I stayed at Afton Farmhouse with my sister and her kids for a weekend getaway. It was super clean, the beds are insanely comfortable, the decor is just spot on and its location was ideal for our wine tours and morning hikes. Her kids loved the foosball table and outdoor play area with soccer goal and jungle gym. My favorite was the fire pit. The lighting is gorgeous at night. Will definitely be back soon ; )
