Best gluten free tea in London. The Rubens offers a specially made gluten free tea, which is very similar to the regular tea. It follows the typical pattern of sandwiches, scones and desserts. All are delicious. An extra treat is they offer more of anything at no added cost. As well, the tea room looks on Buckingham Palace mews. Always interesting to see the activity there.
We had a lovely afternoon tea at The Rubens at the Palace. Delicious sandwiches, fresh scones and amazing pastries. Everything was beautifully presented and the service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
If I could give this 10 stars I would. It was absolutely lovely. As someone with a food allergy (wheat) it was amazing to be able to enjoy a lovely tea. The staff are attentive and accommodating, the room is tastefully decorated and the dishes were beautiful and delicious. Would recommend to anyone looking for an indulgent afternoon. Absolutely wonderful.
We ordered the vegan option and it was so good! Everything is at the highest quality and spot on! The staff was kind and professional.. 1.5 hours just flew by. The piano really gives the a soothing ambiance Highly recommend
We had the most wonderful afternoon, celebrating a 60th birthday. The room where they served afternoon tea was opulent and full of charm. We had a lovely table, with comfortable chairs. Our main server Rebecca was just lovely, attentive and knowledgable with her tea selections. The other members of staff were also great. Sandwiches were tasty, with soft bread and generous fillings.
