We were there for a bridal shower. Service, Food, and ambiance were excellent
We went to Old Mill for afternoon tea for my sister in laws birthday and it was the absolute worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. We called in advance to make a reservation, which happened to not be in their system. Despite showing them our call logs that confirmed we spoke to someone in advance, it was played off that they did us a huge favour for taking us after driving an hour and a half. Absolutely horrific experience. My friends and I drove over an hour to celebrate my best friend’s birthday and were expecting a relaxing afternoon, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Despite booking our reservation well in advance, we were told they had “forgotten” to reserve our table. Very disappointed with the overall "High Tea" experience. I would describe it more as "snacks on a tray, with a pot of stale tea, in a loud pub for $85". It was in the main dining room which was super loud and chaotic, children running around screaming, lots of loud group events coming and going, not a relaxing or elegant atmosphere at all.
