One of my favorite places to have afternoon tea. It’s always a wonderful experience. The food is delicious, and they offer seconds on the tea sandwiches too. Scones, are one of my favs. Desserts are not only beautiful but, so good! And the tea is absolutely divine. Caramelized pear is my go to. And the Chocolate mint is a close second. Plus it’s in a beautiful setting with amazing views.
Went there for Galentine’s day and everything was incredible. My friend and I have been to afternoon tea in London and California and New York, and the Phoenician blew them away. The scones, cream, and jams were pretty good, and the sandwiches and desserts were chef’s kiss🤌 The only sandwich we weren’t blown away by was the asparagus, but everything else was great. First, the valet to the service while walking in was beautiful. Everybody was so kind and gracious; however, the quality of this establishment has gone down significantly over the years. The tablecloths are wrinkled. The sandwiches are stale, and they taste like they used grocery store ingredients, like those from Walmart. It doesn’t taste as fresh or as expensive as it used to, and I don’t mean to sound like a snob, but if you’re spending a hundred-plus dollars here, I would expect better food quality. My sister booked the tea experience for 9 people for her 30th birthday and got sick. She tried to cancel or reschedule 24 hrs before but was told she had no options. They don't care. Now she's out $315! Would not recommend.
The service, ambience and food was exceptional! It was my sister's birthday and they had a small dessert already at the table for her. The holiday high tea was beautifully decorated with a pianist softly playing festive songs. At the end, they send you home with a gift bag of their holiday tea. Definitely recommend if you've never experienced high tea, this is the way to go! You will not be disappointed!!!
