Great Staff & Service I am sorry to hear about the bad experience some people had while visiting Afterglow Spa in Canton. My experience was very, very positive! I had a complete facial with Dorlisa and it was very exhilarating and relaxing. I am a woman of color and appreciated the expertise of a license esthetician. Later. that day I experience the warm stones from a deep massage, both services was great. I will return.
Afterglow Spa is RELAXING PLACE TO VISIT! I went for a deep tissue massage today, OMGosh, it was out of this world wonderful! My therapist was Whitney, she knew what she was doing. I explained to her before the massage that I liked applied pressure during a massage, however I didn't want to feel pain. She did an excellent job! I felt very comfortable. Great Spa I was treated to a prenatal massage at this spa. Everyone was very friendly and the service was great. I was dissapointed however that they didn't use a pillow support system for their prenatal massages. Instead, the table opened up to allow for belly room. At first I thought this would be great...not so. I was also asked to lay on my back for quite some time, which when you are 8 mos pregnant, isn't all that relaxing. Overall however, I was quite pleased.
Excellent experience! I received a full day at the Aftewglow day spa as a birthday gift, and I could not be more pleased. The staff was very friendly and made me feel like a queen for the day. This spa is a hidden treasure in Canton, GA. This upscale spa far surpasses the trendy spas like Spa Sydell and Natural Body where they are so large that they tend to treat you like a number instead of an important client. Never Again If it wasn't that I had a gift certificate I would have left. It opened at 10am my appt for a pedi was at 10am. I sat in a waiting room for 10 mins, I thought the Tech was getting the water and towels etc ready or something but when she took me back nothing was ready. While starting the water in the footspa she asked me to pick a color. I told her I wanted them painted french tips. Extremely unsatisfafy, do not recommend!!! As an anniversary gift for my husband, who commutes between 2 to 2 1/2 hours to and from work each way in the famous Atlanta traffic, I purchased a one-hour massage certificate at AFTERGLOW SPA. Accidentally, he misplaced the certificate. Once he found it, it has expired, but still within one year of purchase.
