I was a union member for almost eight years. My employer laid me off permanently a month after I was back to work part time . I was on a disability. Your council let me down. Laughing stock is what they are.
Two outstanding arbitrations my field rep would not schedule likely per her retirement. Both never went to arbitration due to her. Beware of lazy field representatives! The Union promises far more than it can actually do. Hence, your employer is doing whatever they can to get rid of you. If you get this far, bless your soul-you are probably doing your field rep’s job for them like what happened with me.
