I admittedly waited a long time to write this review. It’s been a few years since I was here, but I walked by the other day and remembered my horrible experience. I was on time for my appointment and still somehow waited 30 minutes for my stylist. I was getting my curly hair braided so I could wear a wig, and I definitely don’t recommend this place if you have 2B–3A hair. After years of straightening left my hair completely fried, Emy at Afro Hair Design has been a lifesaver! She helped me embrace my curls, taught me how to style and protect them, and even installed a weft so my hair could take a break and grow. Several inches of healthy growth later, I now come back for trims and products as they carry everything you need for curls.
