I have been going to Afritude for years. My braids were always very neat and just what I asked for. Chantel is very professional and always considers her clients needs. If you want a dependable braider that's consistent with her work, look no further. She's the best in the city.

I received a weave at this salon. The pattern in which the lady braided my hair was horrible. She braided it in a circular pattern with very thick braids. After she placed the weave in my hair, it was very noticeable where the weave started on my head. Specifically, the first braid was very think and higher than the rest of my head, which made the entire weave look unrealistic. horrible horrible horrible...i put one star and thats being kind because this shop dont deserve any . please stay away, and do not let anyone in the shop do your weave because, they do not know what the hell they are doing.Then, on top of that they wanna charge high prices when they are not professional at all. i usually get my hair done at roots on broad but they had moved,so i tried this shop out looking at the reviews..why these ppl on here are lying, they must be family, because these people cannot do hair. i went and go... read more
I have been going to this salon for about ten years. When i first started going the owner seemed to be a bit bossy, but once you get to know her she is a very nice person. I have never left the shop with a hair style that I didn't want. When I call her and tell her that I ' am coming she always teel me when to come in instead of just making me sit there.
