Regarding the braids that I got as a foundation to do my own crochet braids... Listen, if you have HEALTHY NATURAL hair just look further. Not trying to be rude but this is not the place for MY natural hair. Rough combing that I had to correct with my own comb. Tight braiding that I had to speak up regarding. You'll end up with reaction alopecia if you don't speak up. My style was a cornrow "style" But as lot of ladies seemed very happy
I walked in the shop Saturday June 6, 2026 to see if they can get me in Monday June 8, 2026 morning. Awa the sweetest she said yes. I called that Sunday to confirm she said come at 7am. This is 3 days after I got my hair braided here. Inconsistent parts, my hair is falling out of each part. I paid for knotless and they placed box braids on my perimeter without informing me. 0/5. I paid $350 for these btw, a joke.

My appointment was for 8 a.m. However, Awa and her crew didn't arrive until 8:45. I called her 3 times asking how close she was to the salon as I wanted to know did I need to go elsewhere for service. I was assured that she would be there in 5 mins which turned into 45. That was my queue to take my business elsewhere; but I didn't. I was desperate to have my hair braided plus this location was convenient for me, so I foolishly waited.
