Came in last minute for braid for my trip and was lucky enough to have Mamoa(I think that how you say it, sorry) braid my hair. I showed her an inspirational photo, she called the owner Hawa to confirm the price (you lady didn’t speak much English). Once the price was confirmed I was in and out in 2.5 hours. I’ve been going to African Elegance Braid Shop for years and have always had a pleasant experience. Hawa, the owner, is truly talented and always makes sure the styles are flawless. Every time she’s been involved, my hair has come out beautifully, and I’ve left feeling confident and satisfied. However, my recent visit was a major disappointment.
