Dr. Wallace was beyond thorough. Her knowledge, skill, and confidence made us feel safe entrusting our mother to her care. Dr. Wallace also gave us all the time we needed both before and after the surgery to ask questions and express any concerns. Dr. Wallace is top notch all the way.

I was referred to Dr. Wallace after a heart calcium scan showed a mass in my chest. I met with Dr. Wallace on June 9th, and she said it may or may not be cancerous but that they would remove it and that they like to do it within 2 weeks. She ordered a full chest scan and pulmonary tests. Her office scheduled the tests on June 28 and then I never heard from her again. The scan results never showed on my patient portal. Let me go on record saying this. I have never met Dr. Wallace. She operated on my father. He had lung cancer...He passed away shortly after the surgery. Maybe about a week out from surgery. I called her office to speak to her about my father. I just wanted some details about the depth of his cancer, did it possibly metastasize, I really just wanted some assistance. As a surgeon Dr. Africa is very comprehensive As a person she talks behind your back so you only find out information after the fact or by the nurses that tell you If you have a history of mental illness do NOT see Dr Wallace because you will be 110% disregarded and be given the runaround which you will later find out is totally unnecessary Any doctor that tells the nurses some thing and not some thing to their patient does not deserve to be a doctor let alone a surgeon
