Don’t go near this Company. I bought a Kia Soul from them for £3295. The engine warning light came on. Took it back for them to sort. Claimed they'd sorted it. Engine warning light came on again. Told them I didn’t want it as I’d no confidence in the car. I had only driven 1500 miles since I bought it. They offered me £1000. That’s a loss of £2295 for 1500 miserable miles! Can’t sell it or trade it in with an engine warning light on! Small claims court is my only option.
Will never use this place again. We had no problem buying the car. Jason was a good salesman, courteous and professional. But I'm a person who likes things done right. I asked where the service book was and no-one seemed to know. Jason got me another, but i have no history. I called I again to see if the paperwork was done and sent for the v5 as I hadn't received it after a month. Last week my partner and I purchased a vehicle from AMC in Westhoughton. We like when possible to keep our business local. David the salesman ( the Manager ? ), was extremely helpful throughout, on both the sale of our part exchange and the purchase of the new vehicle, including giving lifts three times between the garage and home, which was very helpful ( unlike some dealerships in Westhoughton who don’t offer such services but make you use a taxi ! ). VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY! I bought a Mercedes back in April and the car had MOT 2 days before just to find out the car has the same problems and many more, hidden ones. I took the car for a check to the Mercedes and then the dealer accused me that i broke the car which is completely false!!! I let them know in the first 14 days that i will take the car for a check because i have bad noise at the wheels when i use the break and they still blamed me. I had a great experience buying a car from AMC. Jason was absolutely brilliant, and when looking around there was no pressure for a sale. Jason was so helpful throughout the process, getting all information I requested. The car was awaiting preparation when I first viewed it, and they very quickly got the car prepared for me to drive away. Would highly recommend getting a car through AMC! Thank you!
