Our elderly neighbor had Affordable Heating install a new furnace. When he left, we had an awful gas leak that filled the hallway of our 4-plex . We had the Coralville Fire Dept. and Mid America Gas check out the leak, and were instructed to evacuate the premises immediately. The tech from Affordable said that the connection at the manifold was so tight that he could hardly loosen it. That was after the Mid America rep had tightened it . RecommendedRicky was our technician and he was great! Hard working, respectful, wore a mask the entire time and answered all of our questions. The amount of gunk he found cleaning our vents was disgusting! So glad this service is offered and that we have a quality team to do it! Highly recommend!
Our heater has been out for about a week and a half now... replacement was originally scheduled for next Monday, but they bumped us up to today! We got a new central heat/AC installed. I didn’t think to ask our crews names to shout them out on here, but they were very friendly and nice. Got here at 8 this morning and just finished up. First off I want give a shout out to my buddy Nate Brady for setting up my appointment with Brad and how soon he could be here.. Brad Murray wasn't here long but was very nice and friendly. we were impressed on how soon Brad set up our appointment to get our new system put in, I talked to Brad Wednesday and they were here installing Thursday Morning. Not rip people off by charging $462 per hour to install a furnace part.
We had some after-hours furnace issues back in January that Affordable Heating & Cooling were able to address to get us patched up (new control panel) until we could get a new furnace. Our furnace was about 30 years old, so we knew it didn't owe us anything. A few weeks ago, we had Brad come out and give us an estimate for a new furnace and AC unit. Got a new Lennox furnace and AC installed after babying my 20 year old system along since last winter. Great estimate and they were able to install my new system after the old one officially died within 24 hours. Thanks guys!!
