I wouldn't recommend Affordable Garages. Understanding there can always be a few rough patches between the homeowner and the contractor, but typically you can reach an agreement to a problem without too much trouble. However this wasn't possible with Affordable Garages. I would recommend forgoing any project with Affordable Garages and continue researching other options.

We received a recommendation from a local realtor. After getting a few bids we choose Affordable. We are extremely happy with them. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I would use them again and would highly recommend them. The garage turned out great..passed inspection..no negatives at all.

SCREAMING: Can you imagine your doctor screaming at you because she can't take your pulse or your accountant screaming at you because he can't submit your taxes? It sounds absurd, doesn't it? Well if you plan on doing business with Affordable Garages be prepared for a screaming match because of their inability to complete the build-out of your garage. This is the first review I have ever written in my life, but Affordable Garages was the worst experience of my life.

Worst experience ever – DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are way more concerned about the check than doing a quality job for the homeowner. Like similar reviewers of this company, this job took over double the time they originally quoted me. The owner is a complete schyster and does not understand the basics of project management. He relies on everyone else to do it for him. He will tell you what you want to hear, will repeatedly lie and will only follow up when asked over and over. Do Not Use!! – Affordable Garages is poor at understanding and paying attention to the finer details of construction, in addition to understanding basic project planning. This lacking attention invariably resulted in my garage project to derail.

I highly recommend these guys – I live in Arvada and had a garage built by Affordable Garages this past summer. I was looking for regular 2 car garage because of my budget. After speaking with salesman and going over prices, I was pleasantly supprised to find out I could get a over sized 2 car and still stay within my budget. The job started within 4 days of signing the contract and took less than 4 weeks to finish. I would have expected something like this to take well over 2 months. Great Experience – I was so happy with the service I received. When I called, I spoke to an actual person right away. They were helpful and got me in contact with a salesman right away. He was able to come out that day and give me an estimate on what I needed, which was lower than the others I got. They started working immediately, and were very flexable with my schedule (which as a single, working mom isn't always easy to do). Don't Use this Company – We used Affordable Garages for our garage project and were frustrated by the service we received. The project took a month longer than we were initially told that it would. When we called to inquire as to why it was not moving along we were met with rudeness and arrogance and never an apology or explanation. Once the plywood was on for the roof they waited a week to put on the roofing paper and shingles.
