They promised that they would get and apply for all the permits needed with the city before the work would be done, however, they never applied for it. When I called them asking for the engineer's letter, a requirement from the city, they refused to give it to me. Also, when I called to get the company's tax ID number for filing my taxes, they refused to give it to me. they are very efficient when it comes to signing a contract. Once it is signed, they have no customer service and will let out to dry.
The Crack Guys installed our dehumidifier when we moved in in February 2023. It was a part of the overall larger project to fix the foundation and encapsulate the crawl space. The crawl space is more like a walk-in basement. They did a great job with the project, but over time we had issues with the dehumidifier burning out. They came out and came up with a design using an "auxiliary sump pump" (my unofficial, non-professional term) that fixed the issue. We've never seen the dehumidifier work so well.
