Can't be trusted! I attended a wedding last weekend that this caterer no showed without any communication and Mark Gallagher couldn't be reached. The poor bride found out right before she walked down the aisle. I wouldn't risk using this guy.
Imagine your wedding in a beautiful but remote setting. You find out your caterer didn’t show with any food that was contracted and paid for. He can’t be reached after multiple attempts. That’s what happened to our granddaughter just before the ceremony. Chef Mark of Affordable Chef Services LLC couldn’t be found. This is unprofessional, unreliable, unethical, and disgusting. Don’t use him if you want a reliable company.
DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HIRE THIS CATERER. I attended a 120-person wedding this weekend where with NO NOTICE Mark did not show up. Not only did they not show up, they did not even warn the venue, the bride and groom, or anyone else that they would not be showing up, leaving everyone scrambling to find food at the last minute. Despite many, MANY calls throughout the day he did not respond to anyone. There will certainly be updates as he has still not returned any money to the family or contacted them.
Mother of the groom here. Do not use this business! He was a no show to our wedding event. No phone call, no text, nothing! He was scheduled and fully paid and left us hanging the afternoon of our 120 person wedding. There is no excuse for this, even if he crashed on the way to the event a staff member could have called. Appalling and inexcusable! Thank god for the local restaurants, Aroma, and Santa Cruz Kitchen, that stepped up to feed our quests and the staff at our venue, the Sequoia Retreat Center. Mark Gallagher did not show up for my brothers 120 person wedding yesterday in Ben Lomond. From the moment we showed up to the venue around 1pm, the stress began as we had not heard from the caterer who was also in charge of providing the bar tender, drink containers, ice, cutlery, tables and linens in ADDITION to the food. Not one call was answered by Mark or his team and he truly no-call, no showed this wedding leaving us to truly panic and pull together a miracle to try to save this wedding.
