Let me start off with how important it is to our family to support a locally owned business. Now let me tell you about the HORRIBLE customer service I have experienced! I took my Honda Civic in for a oil change on 11/22/21. On the evening of 11/29/21 my son in law noticed a large amount of oil under my car. The next day, in the daylight upon further review, it appeared to be oil. He located the dipstick that wasn’t placed properly back in place to discover that oil wasn’t even reaching it. Once he approached the underneath of the car, the entire undercarriage was covered with oil. The next discovery was the oil filter, the gasket was cracked. WOW!!!!!!! Just WOW!
At that point my daughter reached out to the business and spoke with Scott. She told him what was discovered by her husband. Scott asked for the car back to make it right after telling her “crap happens”….
It was at that point where she felt uncomfortable with making a decision on bringing the car back without speaking with me and her husband. Her husband decided to rectify the issue himself as this was a simple task and should have never occurred in the first place, along with the “crap happens” comment. I’m currently on the road to NJ, thankfully with another car. I’m 74 years old and this could have been a terrible event for me. Understanding a customer’s needs to trust that a job is done correctly isn’t a unreasonable thing. My daughter phoned back at my request to have Scott credit my $40 oil change back and informed him that her husband was going to handle the issues. (Cleaning the driveway, doing ANOTHER oil change and then taking my car to a car wash that has a undercarriage pressure washer option). All she asked for was my $40 credit. Scott was completely rude, told her that she was blowing this out of proportion, the car wasn’t leaking oil when she left, WE ARE LIERS…… That was his point we guess…. And, that his card reader was not working. She then asked for a check to be placed in the mail. He proceeded to argue, speak over her and completely disregarded the fact that I did my part and paid for a service that not only wasn’t done correctly, It caused my family to clean up a mess that was created by YOU!!!! To ALL who enter this unprofessional establishment, I caution you! Remember the motto, “crap happens”… And if they create an issue, they will insult your intelligence with a complete disregard of their mistakes they made! Never ONCE did this person apologize for what occurred. With a different approach, we would have returned and had the issue rectified. But when you tell a customer who fulfilled their part by paying for a service that “CRAP HAPPENS” you will find yourself here. With a review that honestly, YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS STUFF UP! Way to go, treating an elderly woman this way. $40 and an apology is all it would have taken. My son in law will fix your failure!
