We hired Jim and his crew the summer of 2009 to instal a new front walk and porch on our house. Like others on this site, we were very pleased with the initial result. Unfortunately, we noticed our porch sinking in June 2010 and have been calling and e-mailing Jim about the problem with no response. Our porch continues to sink and crumbleWe are looking for a new company to fix the problem Jim created. Now we will be out even more money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

We used this firm in 2008 to install brick walkways in the front and back of our home. Initially, we were satisfied with the installation, although they made installation decisions without our involvement that they grudgingly corrected later. After two years, though, we are dealing with sunken brick that looks awful. Used this company on my first home, moved, and wouldnt consider even using anyone else. Got a driveway, patio, fireplace and sidewalk... looks like a million bucks and envy of the neighborhood!! Price was fair, work was superior and looks as good as when done 3 years ago. Only bad part was delay due to rain. Enjoy patio every evening and fireplace is gorgous- used it almost year round. Would strongly recommend this company!!
I have used this company for not only brick pavers but also complete landscaping of my property. The quality of workmanship, employees, and the timely completion of the work was more than one could hope for. Very professional. Paver work done was a driveway, patio, and walkway. This is the third home that this company provided services to., each time very professional.
affordable pavers was not the lowes bidder, which i had let the owner know we went with them for quality and the way he said they were going to do things..... but as the work progressed, much of what we said we wanted fell on deaf ears, and we had a very vague contract on which to fall back on. Please if you hire this contractor, get EVERYTHING...and i mean EVERYTHING in writing....dont assume this company has your best interest in mind.... they ended up cheapening the job craftmanship wise and material wise, and did not pay... read more
I had these folks install driveway pavers for me back in 2004. Immediately after work was completed, I started having problems. not enough support (spikes) were provided at the edges and the bricks started to separate. I called them, and they came out and put in a few spikes and left. I then started to have more problems. The separation of the bricks continued, and a section leading up to the front stairs started sinking.
