These are the arborists you want for your trees. Doug came out the same day, gave a very reasonable quote and chopped down the tree the next day. As the home owner, I already had my tree removal permit in hand and was ready to go. They were extremely affordable and had all the right tools to safely and efficiently remove my tree. Doug even showed me photos of ladder trucks he had that can remove trees 200 feet tall. *** If living in the City of Portland you need a hard copy permit on cutting day.*** The city makes it a very confusing process and with the lack of communication makes it even harder. The reason for the three stars is that Doug did not double check this important detail, which he is required to do. I am now in trouble with the City of Portland for this, not a pleasant process and expensive. Aside from this huge mistake I was pleased with the actual work he and his crew did for me.
