Ramsey came out to replace our broken dishwasher. He didn't pressure us to fix or replace. He did explain both the inital cons and pros on if we fixed, and also did the same for replacing the entire dishwasher. The price was affordable and he met us a convient time that worked for us. Gave Affordable Appliance Repair a call for my dryer that stopped working overnight. Ramsey was communicative over the phone, was able to fit me on schedule same day to take a look, diagnosed the problem, and got it done same day. Excellent and affordable experience for sure.
If you decide to go ahead with the estimate, then there should be no service call charge to you. You should only pay parts, tax & labor for the appliance repair. This was the case with my refrigerator when they repaired it. Unfortunately not with my stove, the fee wasn't wavied. Took no more than 10 minutes to replace a 65.00 part wasn't thrilled with the 275.00 total. Wasn't an emergency called at 8am, he showed up at 1pm. I like Ramsey he's a good man, wish they didn't change their policy.
