The staff at AFAS is professional, courteous and respects your time. Dr. Peter Blume removed a mucous cyst between the joints of one my toes. The cyst would form a blister there that would burst, heal and eventually another cyst would form in the same place. As a patient with Type 2 diabetes, I was concerned about the health of my toes and wanted to prevent more serious problems. The surgery, recovery and after care went perfectly. Dr Peter Blume is an exceptional surgeon. He is committed to providing excellent care to all patients. I had bilateral hammer toe surgery on a total of 8 toes. The titanium inserts are the best option. Be prepared for weeks of recovery, plan to have assistance at home and follow directions explicitly.
Dr.Pinero told me that something was wrong with my back and that is why he was not going to do my right foot .And he was right I have to get back surgery.Thank you very much Dr.Pinero for everything.
I saw Dr Blume for years with bunion pain and I finally decided to have surgery. Dr Blume was excellent, along with the surgical center and his staff there, all truly wonderful.
