In my personal experience, this is the most appalling care environment I have ever seen. During my time working here, I witnessed repeated instances that I believe amount to neglect and a complete lack of basic human decency. I observed staff shouting, swearing, and showing zero patience with vulnerable residents. I saw residents who were unable to feed or hydrate themselves left without food or drink for long periods — not because of lack of time, but because certain staff simply didn’t want to bother. Nice homely feel, with Dedicated hard working staff that put the residents needs first to make them feel comfortable and at home in their new surroundings.

I have worked in Affalon for nearly 2 years the core of staff have remained the same, always ready to help and support each other. Always trying to build a rapport with our residents, find out what they need and like and trying to make them feel welcome, comfortable and at home. We treat the residents with the same dignity that we would give our own family members.

Lovely residents,friendly colleagues. Challenging job on occasions but manager supportive and genuinely cares about residents and staff.
