My fiancé visited this urgent care with clear respiratory symptoms and asked about possible COVID. They dismissed it as “just allergies” and did not offer testing or further evaluation. The next day, both of us tested positive for COVID. This is not the first time we’ve experienced rushed, dismissive care here. Failing to test for a contagious illness puts patients and the community at risk. I would not recommend this clinic for anyone needing thorough or careful evaluation.
I called Four Corners Urgent Care – Cortez at 2:09 PM on 08/03/2025 to ask about being seen for what I believed were tick bites. The receptionist was immediately rude and dismissive. An hour later, after GPS led me to the wrong location in the middle of nowhere, I called back for clarification. Very helpful and friendly staff!
Most compassionate staff at an urgent care clinic that I have ever been to. Everyone was so nice and they got me in and out in under an hour.
So they are not AFC anymore. I don’t know if that change brought on a change in service but today was not a good experience. Reception friendly as always but the provider did not introduce himself, and saw me for maybe three minutes. I went because of a very sudden and painful ear ache, along with swollen lymph nodes. Provider looked in my ear, said “it looked fine, but he would prescribe antibiotics”, and stood back and looked at me, in essence ending the conversation and visit.
