Girlfriend called to book an appointment with her Doctor. Assuming an elderly woman on the phone with her, wasn’t very pro (patient) if you will. My girlfriend was mentioning her excruciating sharp pains, and how she thinks one of her cysts ruptured, and how she’s felt these exact symptoms before and the nurse on the phone basically invalidated everything she said and how she needs a “reason to get an ultrasound” also making her sound crazy for thinking a cyst ruptured and how it’s just a uti.

Ladies — This is NOT a safe place for you or your growing babies. When I was pregnant, my intuition screamed loudly and clearly to get out. The energy from most of the staff is very unsettling. If there are miserable doctors and nurses in your proximity it will negatively affect you. Their staff is rude, cold, misogynistic, dismissive, incompetent and sketchy. I gave birth to my first son in 2021 7lbs 8 oz. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia . Sent to the birthing unit at 38 weeks. My Pitocin was rushed. A midwife broke my water it was a gush not a trickle and from there things picked up and everything felt rushed.. I delivered my baby at Emerson Hospital 4.5 months ago, & I promised myself that I would write an honest review after my experience. Before delivery, we were given the opportunity to tour Emerson gynecology department by booking an appointment. I’ll be very honest I did not like it at first. The technology felt outdated, & the environment gave me a very typical, slightly scary hospital vibe.
