I should have posted this sooner to save other people from making the same mistake. Jessica lacks empathy and compassion. She is very unethical with her billing and spends money on your case that you see no results for. She refuses to return reasonable portions of retainers. I have not spent money on any attorney as much as she took from me during a horrible time in my life when I was most vulnerable. I hired Jessica for representation for an ongoing divorce. After I paid my retainer fee the demeanor drastically changed and Jessica became difficult to communicate with and would threaten to quit when I voiced concerns regarding my case. I also found out she was personal friends with my ex spouses divorce attorney. When I brought up a single communication issue she immediately quit and refused to return my retainer. Michell is the most amazing, compassionate, and patient attorney anyone could ever ask for. She took on my fiancé’s and I cases so smoothly. She has amazing communication and feedback for everything. Worked with Michell Flores when she was at different law office, and she helped me through the beginnings of my divorce, child support, and custody issues. She then moved onto another law office, and I was passed within the firm onto 3 other representatives over 8 months before I left that firm due to no movement and just continuous fees to go over my case with each new representative.
