Will not approve basic care. Aetna owns an AI whose job it is, to deny claims. Conflict of interest, at best. No health care company should be for profit.
This is worst Insurance company I have ever had. I have called over 55 times since January trying to get bills paid. Almost all my claims are denied for some reason or another. Only after numerous calls and persistence do they get paid. It is not uncommon for these bills to Finally get paid after about 4 to 6 months. Never an explanation or an apology. Legitimately cannot cancel this insurance. State department can't help, corporate does nothing, and it's been 3 years of me actively trying to remove myself. Was great when I needed it, but I've never seen such a problem in my life. There is NO cancelations department or services available. Good luck.
Horrible experience. Consistently told different and confusing numbers that don't align with the final bill, many parts of the site are consistently down.
