I realize there's likely little importance in my review here. Aetna knows what they're doing to people just like every other insurer. Regardless, here's one more bad review to go along with all of these others. Really I just came here to piss and moan about having zero coverage for therapy and mental health until I meet a deductible - at which point I can THEN start making copays. Good job Aetna. It's too bad there isn't a -10 on the rating scale ! I've been forced to get into my own savings to pay for my surgery because they DIDN'T feel surgery was needed. All they do is deny procedures for stupid reasons. Then say you can appeal their dissions. They have that word down very well. I've talked to many Dr's and the response is ALWAYS the same. Aetna stinks !!!!

If I could give 0 stars to this horrid company I would. There is an issue every single time we have to use them. If you call don’t expect to talk to someone that can do anything, they’ll just transfer you down the line to the next person who is unable to do anything. Aetna employees blatantly lied about my appeal but they have 0 issue taking my money. Absolute worst insurance company in an already scummy industry. Business owners - please stop using this money, they are cheaper for a reason.
