My daughter is a transplant patient. We've been with another MCO for the past 12 years, but it was discontinued. New on Aetna and suddenly we can not refill her medications at our local Wegmans pharmacy anymore, because her medications are considered "specialty" and can only be refilled at a specialty pharmacy, as if our lives are haven't been complicated enough already, we now need to go extra mile to get her medications

I'm in need of a heart valve replacement. Aetna has decided that it's "Not medically necessary." Even though the valve does not function adequately anymore, they have decided to deny and delay. I'm not at all surprised.

Waiting for them to approve radiation for breast cancer. Once the diagnosis is cancer, there should be no waiting on an ins company’s “doctor” Evercore for them to approve radiation. It is an automatic part of the treatment. So offended and if they delay to push this to next year, it pushes me out of the range best odds success rates for my start…it will be a costly mistake by them
