Aetna insurance should be ashamed of themselves. They're stealing $250 from my mother; a 98yo, blind, widow because she didn't have a referral from her regular doctor to see her heart doctor. Neither of these doctors even knew she needed a referral. SHAMED ON YOU, AETNA, for stealing from a blind, 98yo, widow. I hope no one ever treats your mothers this way. But I'm sure that this huge insurance company needs the money more than my mother does. Bad form, Aetna. Bad form.
0 Stars. Don't use this insurance. You are better off going through a broker and getting covered through a better health insurance provider. This is the worst Insurance company I've ever had and I've been in the workforce and have had corporate benefits for 15 plus years. For a standard doctor check up it costs me $180 out of pocket on the Aetna Signature PPO. I had Medical Mutual and Blue Cross/Blue Shield prior to this and the same check up with the same doctor was a $20 copay, nothing out of pocket. This alone makes me no... read more
