I had a magical experience at the ranch. Denise and Chino are not only incredibly competent instructors but are also instructors who really put the effort into making sure student demonstrates the necessary skills for their rating. I’m very grateful to have gotten far more than the minimum flights required by USHPA out of my course. This is especially nice since at my local PG site I can’t really do more than 1 (maybe 2) flights in a single day - it was great to get in so many launch/landing reps. The amount of positive things I wish to write about Aerial Paragliding (Denise and Chino in particular) would take more time and space than anyone would read. The instruction is top-notch, the location is incredible, and everything from start to finish truly could not be better. The biggest thing I received from my time at the Ranch is growth. The Ranch in Cashmere is hands-down the best paragliding training site I’ve ever visited. It’s basically a playground for adults — no power lines to dodge, no trees snagging your wing, and launch opportunities in every direction. No matter which way the wind is blowing, you can get quality instruction and rack up tons of laps to refine your takeoffs and landings. Just finished P2. Denise and Chino are fantastic instructors who take the time personalize instruction for each student while keeping a sharp eye out for safety. The ranch is a great place to learn- great launches and landings in a beautiful setting with a luxurious bunkhouse. Supportive vibe, great community, highly recommended!
Learning to paraglide with Denise and Chino was fantastic! They are awesome instructors and will coach you though every step of the way. The ranch is an amazing place to learn with a great beginner site and more advanced sites to progress on.
